CherThere Builder is designed to be practical, low-friction, and privacy-minded. Most tool entries stay in your browser unless a feature clearly needs to send information to a server to complete the request.

Draft saving
Some tools may use local browser storage so your draft can stay available on your own device. Clearing your browser data can remove those drafts.
External sites
When you open official government pages, PayPal, legal resources, or other third-party links, their privacy practices apply to what you submit there.

How different Builder tools handle information.
Advocacy letter tools
Information you type into letter builders is used to assemble editable draft letters. CherThere Builder does not submit those letters for you. If a page offers print, copy, download, or save-draft features, those actions happen on your device unless the page clearly says otherwise.
District lookup tools
Address information may be used to help identify state or federal districts. Depending on the specific tool setup, a lookup may use a secure site endpoint or send you to an official lookup site. Do not enter information you are not comfortable using for that purpose.
Portraiture / New Skills tools
If you upload an image to generate caricature or drawing instructions, the image is previewed in your browser first. When you click generate, the image may be sent to CherThere Builder’s backend and an AI service provider to produce written instructions. The tool is intended to return instructions, not identify the person in the image.
Analytics and basic site measurement
The site may use Google Tag Manager or similar measurement tools to understand general site usage and performance. CherThere Builder does not intentionally use analytics to collect the content of your letters, testimony drafts, or uploaded images.
Server and security logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs to keep the site secure and working.
Donations and third-party payments
If you choose to donate through PayPal or another outside service, payment information is handled by that provider. CherThere Builder does not process payment card details directly.
Helpful reminder: Avoid entering highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for the tool you are using. Review any draft before copying, printing, downloading, or submitting it to an official site.

You can clear saved drafts by clearing your browser storage for builder.cherthere.com or using reset/clear buttons on individual tools when available.
